Un-saved. Unbeliever? Was that me?

Before I came to Christ. How could that be?

I did not know God, or His great love for me.

Until, my heart was stirred, like John Wesley.

I repented, yes! I asked God to forgive me.

From my sin, transgression, and iniquity.

From the control of sin, I was free.

Born again, a faithful believer, I can now be.

God’s child, renewed, justified, holy,

Are some of the words that can describe me.

Bearing the Spirit’s fruit, and not just acts of piety,

When God’s Holy Spirit is living in me.

Perfection? It is a possibility.

Step by step, obeying God daily.

Loving God, and others, that is the key.

To stay close to God for eternity.
